two types of income, either passive or lineal.
Lineal income is what most people are accustomed
to. This is where you put hours in and get money in
return - if you stop working, the income stops. With
passive income, you put time and effort into
something for a short period of time in order to
make money over and over again indefinitely.
Of course, just by the sound of it, passive income is the best way of making
money and is the best type of income to have coming
into your portfolio.
Passive income is where money is made with little to
no ongoing personal effort. This is also where all
of the potential in business comes from. If you are
working for your money, you are very limited on how
much you can earn. You are not limited when making
money passively.
How to make money in the two income types is broken down into four
major income producing areas:
Job Income
(this is lineal income requiring you to put
continuous time and effort into it in order to earn
a small amount of money for your work), Self-Employment
Income (this
is also considered lineal income requiring you to put
in continuous time and effort in order to earn
money based on how many people you serve, but producing more money in return),
Business Income
(this is passive
income because you don't have to work for the
business - you own it and pull money from the
business profits while your business's employees and
managers do all of the work), and
Investment Income
(this is also passive income that usually comes from
money to make more money such as investments like real
estate, stocks, or mutual funds, or it can also be
royalty income from the sale of books, records, or
movies). You are here because you are
interested in the most powerful incomes there is -
business income!
